Stages of a Fanboy/Fangirl

DISCOVERY
This is the stage when you first discover the person or the fact that you're a fan. You may think he/she is awesome and just leave it at that. Sometimes, you might think they're "cute," but this doesn't always happen.

EXPLORATION
In this stage, you start to "explore" your person. You watch interviews, videos, listen to their music, read their stories, and read a bunch of articles and crap about them. No matter what you do, you can't get enough, even though you spent hours looking up EVERYTHING on this person. Most of the time, you might begin to feel attracted to this person, depending on who they are.

ADDICTION
At this point, you're basically addicted to this person. All you do is think about them, read about them, watch them, listen to them, ect. They are the center of your universe.

DENIAL
You have now lost who you are, and you blame it on this perfect person. You are desparate to meet them, even if you don't show it. You hate their guts, but you also love them. You might want to kill them for taking over your life, but at the same time, you might want to have their babies...
